The Elsa U. Pardee Foundation awarded Assistant Professor Anna Eiring, Ph.D., $169,802 for research on new drug targets for acute myeloid leukemia.
AAMC Fellowship
Professor and founding chair of the Department of Neurology Salvador Cruz-Flores, M.D.,M.P.H., has been selected to an exceptional AAMC fellowship program.
Tenure and Promotions
The TTU System Board of Regents approved promotions and granted tenure to several TTUHSC El Paso faculty members during the regents’ meeting in El Paso.

Hispanic-Serving Institutions Week
In 2018, the U.S. Department of Education recognized TTUHSC El Paso as a Title V Hispanic-Serving Institution, making it the second Health-Related Institution in the nation to receive the designation and the only one located on the U.S.-Mexico border.
