The Texas Tech Health El Paso Office of Research has launched a new quarterly newsletter designed to keep faculty and the campus research community informed about resources, opportunities and developments that can support their work.
Study Volunteers Needed
The Department of Emergency medicine is looking for 10 healthy Texas Tech Health El Paso student/resident volunteers who are willing to donate blood for a study that will measure changes in coagulation efficiency in refrigerated whole blood over a five-week period.
Top Scientists Recognized
Six Texas Tech Health El Paso faculty members appear on the Stanford-Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List, an annual bibliometric ranking developed by Stanford University researcher John P.A. Ioannidis and colleagues to measure research citation impact across 22 scientific fields.
Cranial Surgery Case Study
David Hu, M.A., a fourth-year student at Texas Tech Health El Paso’s Hunt School of Dental Medicine, recently published a case study in the prestigious Journal of Neurosurgery: Case Lessons.
